    Painting advise

Agreed. Acetone is the way to go. Dont do it in the garage unless the door is open as it is very volatile and the pilot light from the water heater could boom haha. Other than that its easy to use. Like eddie said, buy a tap and chase the holes once you are done. Sent from my SM-G900P using...

    EVO Sport Cage?

I just had this cage installed and my ambient light sensor works fine on my 14. It's a little more sensitive now, if the sun is setting and there are dark shadows it will trigger sooner than before but 95% of the time it's just like before. Here are a few pics. Visibility is great, haven't...

Learning to Weld-- Tips for Beginners on Welding and Gear

I would say forget the stack of dimes with mig until you know what you are doing. Worry about wetting the ears, try doing 90's, uphill, downhill, etc with a straight pull. Here is when I was learning... And after a bit got to this... This is stick, but learning process is the same. Sent...

    Roof Top Tent or not

Like Eddie said, most bigger tents take a beating in the wind, and are actually colder than a small tent. A friend has this Kodiak 6 person canvas tent and its 4 season I believe, at 6'1 you would be able to stand in it. Camped with him in 30 mph winds and it was fine... but that said its $700...

Learning to Weld-- Tips for Beginners on Welding and Gear

Agreed. If you are trying to do relative precision stuff chop saws with abrasive blades blow ass in my opinion. As you push on them the blade warps or gets a crazing on it. Its especially bad if you are doing mitre cuts. By the time you have done 4 cuts on square tubing they are usually outta...

Learning to Weld-- Tips for Beginners on Welding and Gear

I have a northern tool auto helmet and also an auto miller. The northern tool one has worked fine, but as it does have its drawbacks, which may or may not apply to you. For everyday stuff its fine. Problem is when you get into tight spaces there are fewer sensors and they may get blocked by an...

    Selecting a Mig welder.

Miller multimatic 200 is a super nice welder. 110, 220, you can mig with a paintball co2 can. They are spendy but super nice. Otherwise the hobarts are nice from what I hear. Not sure why nobody stick welds, can get a nice 220 tombstone for el cheapo and weld whatever you want once you get the...

    Anyone running ARB Intensity lights?

One warning on putting big lights like this on the A pillar... they are big, and dont really fit. Mounting brackets can hit windshield and or wipers... likely will need to modify whatever bracket you choose to use to accept the light etc. Sent from my SM-G900P using WAYALIFE mobile app

    Overlanding Gear

I have the Nemo cosmo 30XL insulated pad. It makes 0 noise and is super nice, and allows for side sleeping. Its also pretty damn light for what it is. With the foot pad to fill it up you can get it super firm. Camped out in the desert before new years when it went down to 25 and stayed nice and...

Anyone running the Delta 3rd Brake Lug Light set up on stock wheels?

I run these... had to grind the plastic down a bit to fit the stock lug holes and they fit snug. When I went to slabs the fit was loose so I wrapped then in foam double sided tape and that fixed the problem. With a snug fit they do not rotate.
