Running aftermarket wheels still? The bore on the wheel could be bigger than the lip on the spacer if the spacer does have a lip on the wheel side.

Make sure your the slotted end of your clamps line up with the slot in the adjustment sleeve also. If they aren't lined up it won't clamp right and could cause them to jump threads.

That was my point. Glad it worked out for you. OP, get a stock unit like almost everybody else said. Death Wobble can and will cause other issues that can lead to failure and breakage if left alone. Don't try to mask it, fix it.
