Yea I’m not really feeling the age-old ‘which is a better cage’ discussion on this one. If they both died in a rollover, I imagine they must have been going faster than any stock or aftermarket cage allows, and / or not been wearing seatbelts.
Finally added the ram after having the gear box and pump for a year.
Even less effort to steer than with the gearbox and pump only. Feels like the tires have almost no input on the steering wheel.
Such an improvement.
lol. Yea it may only affect certain years. Someone told me about it on the trail when I mentioned that I had replaced mine…something like this below is what I found.

Yea, I had mine replaced a few years back.
Also, @Disciple Off Road, there is a lifetime manufacturers warranty on JK clock springs. I didn’t know when I replaced mine, and paid a few hundred bucks at the dealership. Wish I had known.
