2024 JLR - CV Axle Shafts

So, if there is discussion on this, please feel free to merge, but I have not found a lot of experience / input so far. We bought my wife’s 2024 Rubicon last year. Bright White, 2-Door, 3.6, 4:1 Part Time T-case, no e-torque, full float rear axle design. Definitely had everything we wanted...

VIDEO : All Terrain Tires that Grapple the Snow

Great video. Love seeing the YJ in action. Reminds me of growing up in upstate NY and heading out in my cousins XJ to rip around in the snow at night…

My brother is considering a ‘24 Gladiator Rubicon as well. Very low priced right now.

DISCIPLE - Transforming a Jeep Wrangler into an Epic "Ultra4 Inspired" Ride

Finally watched this. The adjustable PRP seats are insane. Also cool to see the coilover covers are removable. I did not look closely enough to realize this, seeing them in person. Chad definitely took the time to make those right.

Oil from serpentine tensioner bolt hole

Did it come from somewhere else and just drip down the back of the pulley?

What was done to your rig this week?

That is pretty odd. Even though that’s the threaded end, there is still usually a decent amount of black oxide coating left and usually a touch of tool oil from the factory, in my experience. That looks like when I hit something with a cutoff wheel and leave it exposed…that bright orange flash...

    Want a Horse?

That’s pretty cool. Makes owning a horse more accessible. I hear all the boarding and upkeep is pretty expensive…unless of course you immediately feed them to all the hungry people on this thread.

    KOH 2025 Gladiator Crash

Did anyone else see this happen? I was half watching it live today, but missed the context. Was this actually part of the course? This person missed the gap by so much…what were they thinking…

Thoughts on wheels/tires for a 2 inch lift?

Another vote for not going 18” wheels. Did I miss it, or did you say why did you want to go to 18s in the first place? All jokes aside, since you posted in the noob zone, if you really do go to 37s, you will likely want to regear your axles. I went to 35s and 17” beadlocks right from stock...
