I go to 4 psi on a regular basis. That being said- my tires are pretty stiff. It totally depends on the tire/ vehicle combination, and then also how you drive once it's aired down. You certainly don't want to be making any fast hard turns when aired down. Do I wish I had beadlocks? Heck...

With a 2" lift you could probably clear like 28" tires? Haha I was actually just wondering about lifting my sister in laws patriot. They are such a low rig, and they don't even have a low range, so I decided it was probably not worth it.

That's a caliper slide pin. Exact same as the one off my front Dana 60. It came off a 90's Ford F-350. Can't find a pic of mine, but in the lower left of this pic, you can see the v notch that it slides into. There are two little bumps on each end of it that are supposed to hold it in...

I have the fab fours sliders. They have a little bit of a step, and I have beat them pretty hard and they have held up well despite only being body mounted like most of the Tj rails.

I was impressed by how easy my Tj pulled my trailer with Rzr as well. I can imagine that the 3.6 did really well since it's got an extra 75 hp more than my 4.0L!

Glad you got it going! Te white smoke was almost certainly the oil in the cylinders burning up. Just like a 2 stroke!

New challenge- your jeep on a trail run with a non jk,or Tj jeep. Example- on a trail with an MJ, YJ, CJ, XJ, etc. just not a Tj or jk.
