TALL & skinny Tires - Is this the New Cool Kid Trend??

It is not true that no one has done real world testing. I fact, there is extensive analysis as well as actual testing. It is true that as tire pressure is reduced, the contact patch enlarges much more on the front/back direction than sideways. Narrow tires are able to achieve the contact patch...

    Shower Thoughts

It used to be common for employers to require their salaried employees to submit short status summaries to management each week, or every pay period. I have often encountered requirements to account for my time and charge it to particular project/task ID numbers or cost centers. Working for the...

Best tires for sand trails and highway.

Thus far we are really happy with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Primarily used on the highway (and some city driving). I did take a short trip with them in some light snow/ice with steep inclines and I did not lose control. I ran the Rubicon factory K02s for several years. One trip was unexpectedly 90...

Add on Step for MojaveX suggestions

I am sure that LOD and some others make better. DV8 looks nice but have a history of failure under stress. Take care that these do not crush up into the body of your Jeep and damage it.

Just watched Eddie’s gentle death wobble video….

I found (on my MR-2) that penetrating silicon lubricant makes the squeak go away for a few months. It was very unfortunate that I went through so much effort to install poly bushings on my CJ-5. The bushings needed to be shaved down to fit.

Has the new mike attachment to the mirror been trail tested yet? What if it causes the mirror to rotate?

    Uptravel and new shocks

The bump stops prevent the shocks from bottoming out. If the shocks bottom out, something will break. If longer shocks are installed then something else would break.

I know that the kit from WARN requires removing the front skid plate.

    New JL Bumper

So the question remains how to install bow shackles (given the MOPAR steel bumper) for a purpose such as towing? It may be that a big soft shackle around the whole bumper is sufficient.

    New JL Bumper

If towing using a tow strap, isn't there risk that the strap will fall off the hook?

    The hell’s going on here?🤷‍♂️

I think that you are on to something. For every enabled 'push', mine has 'alert' checked as well. But Ace's are not. It seems like if you disable 'alert', then you can't disable 'push' (all of his 'push' are enabled but greyed out as if he can not disable them).

Apparently the knowledgeable person has not arrived yet. You just admitted that you are not knowledgeable!

Mine is also set to push, but alert as well. I don't receive any mails other than for the options which are about "email".
