Yeah, I tried that - both dielectric grease and a zip tie and it didn't hold or at least, not well enough. I actually kind of wonder if maybe water got in it too and caused problems. Either way, they're only about $100 so I ordered a new one to see if it would help. Can't tell for sure but...

I don't think so. Fortunately, Bandit has the standard glass and it's cheap enough to just replace as needed. Maybe if it were the new 2024 with the antenna in it or had adaptive cruise control, I'd consider it.

So, it's been a few days now since I've dicked around with the wiring and... I'm happy to say everything is still working!! Passenger side rear turn signal is still good, no more errors on it, no more blinking center stack, no more issues with the infotainment system, no more radio cutting in...

Welp, new windshield is in! Hope this one lasts a bit longer than a year. I should also note that I just got the generic aftermarket glass which only cost $290. Had I gone with the Mopar glass, it would have been $620. Oh, and THANK GOD this wasn't a 2024 windshield with the antenna in it or one...

LOL - Honestly, I couldn't tell you if they're good or not, just that I get people churching them up and on a regular basis. Shame you have a JK. I have a spare disconnect but it's for a JL/JT. You can make a JK one work on a JL/JT but not the other way around.

Here's one that I just got and really, I get all the time and it's from guys who've been social media sold on the idea that Apex sway bar disconnects are the best thing since sliced bread. I've literally had guys tell me that I need to ditch my Rubicon electronic disconnects for them 🤪
