I just installed the dynatrac progrip on my 2011 jk, after about a mile down the road of no squeaking or squealing it started up and its worse than the old break squeal and squeak... when i slightly mash the pedal it goes away, we installed the pad clips the correct way... any other thoughts?

Caught the Bug
I've been running this kit since it first became available.

My driver's side rear wheel has been squeaking off and on. After about a year I found out what was causing it...the caliper was binding on the slide pins. I had greased them during the install but I must have had a little bit of corrosion. Once I fixed that the squeaking went away and the breaking all around felt much better.

May not be your problem, but it may give you something else to look at.

Did you do all 4 wheels or just one axle? Rear brake squeak can disguise itself as front noise sometimes. Also any chance you accidentally got grease on the pads or rotors?

I did front and rear, no grease on bads or rotors i wiped it all off with break cleaner, matt alpha ill check the slide pins, i aslo greased everything and the slide pins greased them extremely well

did you use the new clips, apply some brake grease on the slide pin, back of brake pad and on the brake pad ears?

did you check that the ears slid within the metal clips? I file the ears to remove any paint clumps or rough spots so they will slide easily within the metal clips.

Did you do the brake break-in as instructed?

Yes I applied grease it said areas, and used the new clips, when I put the pads in the clips the slid in easy. I drove it a mile and it started squeaking and squealing. I didnt file anything though

check the clips, make sure you installed them the right direction and also check around the brake dust shield make sure you didn't pick up a rock and it's stuck in there

Did you attach the material to the back of the pads?
You have to cut them to size and stick them in place. There's self adhesive on one side.
I installed the kit with no issues and no squeak at all.
Awesome brakes!

As mentioned, one of the brake pad guide clips on the caliper most likely has come loose and is now making contact with your rotor. These clips have tabs that are bent in a 90° angle and should prevent them from moving around but can get flattened over time and enough so to allow them to shift over.

I too have this big break system and its flat out awesome. Mine doesn't squeak, but rather has a clicking sound. Not at all times but very noticeable off road, and sometimes while just sitting still and just shaking the jeep. It only seems to be in the front and i suspect something with the clips, but have yet to pull it back apart to further investigate. Anyone else have the same clicking with this setup?

Could a bent axle shaft cause it? I literally just installed the kit yesterday and the noises are coming from the right rear. No I just greased the pads didnt put the backing it said i could do either or... I love these breaks and just with a day and breaking them in I noticed a huge gain!! I just want the squeaky and squealing gone. I drove all morning and no noices, sat in a drive through and came out at lunch and bam squeaking and squealing that goes away when I mash the pedal slightly

yes, bent axle shaft will squeal and it will do it how you describe - i know from recent experience.

put blocks under the front tires - put the transfer case in neutral, raise the rear and spin each wheel in both directions. you'll hear it squeal if it's bad enough or you'll feel/see the slight out of true round roll when you spin it.

Oh and I had a passenger ride with me and said he could see a slight wobble in the tire when it makes the noise it just befuddles me its so off and on

I have zero noise from this kit. Sounds like u might have a bent flange from your passenger saying he sees a wobble. That would produce a noise from the brakes.

If your rear wheel wobbles you either have loose lugs or a bent flange. X2 on recent experience with the bent flange. I can't remember if you said its an intermitent squeak...squeak...squeak...or a long squeal?
The intermitent squeak could be the bent flange causing the disc assy to hit the brake pads on every revolution. That would be indicated by the wobble in the wheel too.

Yes is intermittent ie squeak squeak squeak... mash the brake boom gone... i also drove this morning with no noise until lunch... I guess new rear axles are next

BOTH wobble?!

Edit: I'd throw it up on jack stands and rotate the wheels to see if there is any wobble. You only need to replace bent axle, not both.
