What was done to your rig this week?

I'm not gonna lie but that sounds like it's time to get your eyes checked or some better lights on that jeep.
😂

I was making a right hand turn on the curving driveway, where the curb also turns to the right. The tires went up on the curb without us feeling anything, and then they dropped over where there was maybe a 18 inch drop. It would have required rock lights (and someone looking) to see what is going on. It really is pitch black in a real rural area unless the moon is out. On our side of the valley, no one turns on lights outside unless they actively need it.

Besides, that trip was my first time driving a modern jeep (a JKU). 😄

Had a busy couple of days. Replaced a cracked drivers side exhaust manifold. The Dorman replacements had mixed reviews, so I found a Omix-ada branded one and it seemed to have good casting quality, so we'll see if it lasts. One bolt was broken before I started (of course the furthest one back with the firewall in the way) l, but I was able to get it extracted after borrowing a 90 degree drill.

Also replaced spark plugs and wires. It was a used Jeep, so I don't know the last time they were done. The old plugs had gaps between .010 and .030 wider than they were supposed to be. They were a little white also, so I need to track down a possible air leak. For now, it runs a lot better and quieter than before.
