Fishing Jeepers...Post Up Your Pics

Headed out to Stuart, FL in the morning for a little sport fishing on Saturday. Hopefully I'll have some good pics to post up provided the weather holds up.

Just met with the captian this afternoon down here in Stuart. Had a half day charter this morning that pulled 6 blackfins, 3 yellowfins, with 4 kings. We roll out at 7am.

Good weather out on the water but a bunch off little guys and 2 sailfish. To bad you ha e to release the sailfish. Beautiful fish but hate that you can't bring them on the boat. Then again a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at the office.

What’s for dinner?

You can’t drive to here…3 hour drive from my house to catch a boat (no cars), then 2 hour boat ride…I used to fish it by bike, but found a older local couple that rents out a cabin on their property that comes with a beater van (perfect, it holds all our fly rods already strung up)…very few options to dine out…most are closed before getting off the river…so I precooked a bunch of meals since I knew would be too tired to cook from scratch…first night only dinner cooked from scratch…pan roasted chicken with garlic, garbanzos and spinach…next 3 nights black eyed peas & ham, lamb ragu with tagliatelle, chili & grilled smoked sausage…couple nice bottles of wine, copious amounts of beer…IMG_6511.jpegIMG_6490.jpegIMG_6527.jpegIMG_6485.jpegIMG_6531.jpegIMG_6486.jpeg
