Have the new 11yr B524 Elijah Craig. It’s really good! Same nose and a very similar palate as my favorite, batch C923, a 13yr. Flavor doesn’t linger quite the same but is still better than most I’ve had. I’m happy to have this so I can save the other for a few more years.

Never been one to ruin a whiskey with ice, well, unless it’s a clear ice in an old fashioned. However, a bud of mine gave me one of these on a hot day… it’s really refreshing- not quite as refreshing ad a Cindy’s picon punch or Tony’s vodka tonic, but still refreshing.
