What was done to your rig this week?

Installed Olympic front skid-plate and combination light-bar
The installation was straightforward, although the instructions did not cover my Gladiator Sport S specific situation, having a plastic air dam where other models have an actual factory metal skid plate. Removing the air dam was not a problem, however and the Olympic skid plate/light bar bolted right up with the included 16mm headed bolts. I cut the relay, fuse and switch out of the Olympic wiring harness and wired it directly to a 10A fuse in the previously installed BulletPoint AuxBeam control panel. Everything worked from the first push of the switch panel and I'm satisfied especially since I bought the unit at a pretty good discount.

Great bumper… had it for almost four years and it held up great!
Why did you get rid of it?
The only think I didnt like was the skid plates. I got it installed before the bumper, then had to take it off to bolt down the winch. But I could only get 4 of the 6 bolts installed. The lower bolt and only 1 of the 2 upper bolts on each side.

only 4 out of 6 bolts for the winch? or the bumper holding the winch?

I switched over to EVO gear, otherwise I’d still be running it.

Yeah, the skid plate was a pain in the ass to install. I had to cut some of the upper areas to avoid making contact with the rear of the oem fog lights. Then there was bolting it on, was rough. However, it did a great of protecting stuff down there.
