I think they (Stelantis) jumped the shark with price increases in 22and 23 so they finally got pushback by the market so this is a bit of a correction. That and a bit of a return to sanity with interest rates coming off historical lows. People were buying all kinds of shit overpriced because they could borrow the money for basically free. I did I got zero percent financing on mine two years ago. The dollars I borrowed are worth a lot more than the dollars I’m paying today.

Got a white JTR a couple of days ago for around $16k off MSRP, plus traded in my paid off JKU. Missed out on getting one a year ago at MSRP and was excited to be able to get into one way cheaper now. No good pictures yet, still have to rearrange the garage too so it can park inside. IMG_3626.png

Here they are :). Now she has her Jeep she said she won’t be mad when I start doing stuff to mine. (She was able to find one exactly the way she wanted her JL) now I just need to cancel the order on the JLU we had for her. I told her the JT rode and drove a little better than the JLU she didn’t believe me until she drove mine. Also the crazy discounts really helped.

Yeah they already announced that the ‘24s have a lower starting price. I think around $1700 or so cheaper - not sure how this effects the higher trim levels though i remmember about a year or so ago i was looking to get into a Rubicon from my Willys - and had 70k sticker shock lol. I needed to tow a bit so i ended up getting a diesel 3/4 ton instead (and it was cheaper than a JTR).

Really happy to see the love for the Gladiator here. I did a Jamboree last fall and the trail guides did not want Gladiators in their group. I think a few were surprised how well we did.
I haven't had any issues doing all the stuff the Wranglers do around me - in some cases the wheelbase has been an advantage. I remmember this kind of snobbery when the JKU's came out and people call them minivans and telling folks who bought them they couldn't tag along on runs because they would get stuck and hold everyone up - and other snobbery. Overall i think the Jeep communities are far more welcoming than others imo. Can't tell you how many times people with Toyotas have told me now to "Enjoy having your Jeep sitting at the shop for weeks on in" comments lol.

LOL - this is the exact reason why Mel at EVO started the JKX. When the JK came out, all the snobs including in the industry, all said that a JKU was too big and long to run trails. So much for that! 🤪

I took delivery of my 2023 Punk'n turbo diesel Sport S Gladiator with the HD towing package (6,500 lbs. for the diesel) last Friday on Ground Hog Day. The factory sticker was $64,450 without any add on dealer BS. I paid $60,289.80 plus a $24.00 out-of-state (Oregon) title fee less a $9,667.50 factory rebate for a net price out the door price of $50.646.30. There is no sales tax as such in Oregon, but when I license the Gladiator there later this month, I will have to pay a $145.73 "Privilege Tax" for the privilege of buying a new vehicle in addition to the license and registration.

I like the 100k mile power train warranty. Mine was only 50k.
