Obviously, this is nothing new as the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Anniversary Edition 392 was released at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari earlier this year but this was my first time giving it a close up look. From what I understand, some of the new features that you see including the grill restyling will be a part of what we can expect to see on the JL refresh coming to us next year. And, I have to say that I'm not 100% sure I'm really digging the pseudo slotted grill but wanted to get your take on it. What do you think of it?

I am not a fan of the grill. The rest of it I like, however I think the current JL/JT grill is cleaner. I wonder how the airflow is?

Did you notice any difference in the interior?

air flow, I'd replace the grill and figure out a different way for better air flow if that's the issue

The mesh on the Gladiator grill has wider opening than the JL and I know Jeep did that and used it on the 392 to help with air flow - as in, help do a better job of keeping the engine cool. I can only assume they're going to this pseudo slot design to help even more. Maybe they're trying to do away with the crazy loud fan or maybe they're starting to seen heat related engine issues. One thing for sure is if they just got RID OF THE MESH instead of getting rid of the bars, that would help a lot!

I don’t mind the grill. I kinda dig it. Being we had the 10a, I’ve been waiting to see what they had up their sleeve for the 20a….
