2 door lift kits

I've come to that same conclusion/thought with all of that company's items. I didn't know they were around anymore honestly.
They are a frame mount, but I have not put them to such a test. What would you recommend in such a situation?
 
I have seen similar ones which are pretty much all the same as DV8 and SmittyBilt take one good hit and bend right into the body of the Jeep causing body damage. Obviously not everyone is using them to this extent and work fine for most. I just wouldn't use them as an actual "rock slider" personally. But if they work for your needs, that's all that matters (y)

But I am still curious what brand would be considered a better choice?

In regards to something taking hard hits? Id go with anything that is using DOM steel that is frame mounted for the most part or has solid mounting points at the body mounts. There are several companies that do this but for example would be LOD, EVO.

A lot of the issue with the cheaper options is that they use cheaper materials hence the lower price points.
