Third time is a charm

Got most of the wiring harness for the engine run and plugged in. I have a couple of grounds to bolt down and some wire to tie up but it's a good start.

I still have to sort out the wires running to the back so I didn't drop the intake on tonight but I should be able to do that tomorrow. After that it's on to the emissions and interior harnesses.
Making some nice progress. Quite an undertaking. 👍

Did some more wiring tonight. Got the TCM mounted and ran the wires back to the transmission and transfer case. Also ran the fuel feed line from the tank up to the engine and attached the grounds to the back of the cylinder heads.

I spent about 30 minutes trying to get the transfer case plug in before I dropped the case and found that the plug was slightly melted. A quick touch up with the Dremel and it was all ready to go back in. After dropping and lifting the transfer case by myself I decided it was time for bed.

This is about the last photogenic accomplishment for a while. Got the intake bolted in. The rest is going to be lots of running wires and a few bags of zip ties.

If anybody was thinking about doing this or has any general questions about it just let me know.

Got a few more things done tonight. Ran the emissions harness to the back, put in the starter, ran the power leads for the alternator and starter, mounted the TCM and ECM and started making sense of the wiring up that way. Lastly I tried to put the intake tube on so I wouldn't have the throttle body open to the air while it sits. Turns out the clearance for the hard rock hood is not enough to fit the intake runner and the alternator. I'll likely end up dabbing something up when I get the grill/radiator put back on so I know what I'm working with.

Made some progress today. Got both the the exhaust manifolds bolted in for the last time. Got the EVAP canister pulled down and made a plan for remounting. Ran a major portion of the passenger side exhaust. It nice to have that out of the way as the passenger side has to snake through between the transmission and the gas tank and then around the transfer case.

How close to making some noise? (y)
Getting real close now. Got all the interior harness plugged in today and made the connections under the hood for the mocan. Need to hook up a couple ground cables and hook up coolant hoses and fill all the fluids. Should be able to get it knocked out tomorrow.

The wife had surgery a couple weeks ago and can't pick up the baby so time to work has been after bed time in the evenings so things have gone a little slow.

Got the front end mostly finished up today. Ran the trans cooler lines and A/C hoses. Zip tied the harness up under the hood. Mounted the bumper and grill and took it off the jack stands. A few more things in the side of the engine bay to tie up in the morning and I'll be able to throw the front fenders back on.
