While I was out of town my wife and son conspired against me. When I returned home I was the owner of a 2021 F350. It's a beautiful truck and pulls the Jeep with ease. Because where we live, I replaced the front bumper with a Ranch Hand. Damn deer seem to just run out into the road.
When I first started wheeling in Moab (puck lift and 33s) I realized the importance of having some tools on the trail. I put together a small bag, and was proud of myself. Then as more mods came, I realized most if not all aftermarket parts use SAE not metric bolts. So my tool bag basically...
Mystery solved.
I purchased the jscan tool and app, and removed the AEV program.
According to jscan RPMs are 3158 at 80 mph.
Stock tach is way off, it was still showing 4000 at 80
I'll use the AEV to reset to stock settings. Then use jscan to recalibrate. Then, I'll go for a drive and go through the gears manually, and see if there's any difference. If not, I've got nothing.
Right!!! That crossed my mind. But, if the AEV is programmed for 5.13s wouldn't that cause it to go into limp mode?
Also, the rear R&P went out a couple years ago and 5.13s were put in. If somehow the original gears were mistakenly 5.38s, and then 5.13s put in the rear, all kinds of shit would...
His weighs 5950, mines 6200. But that's fully loaded with gear and full tank of gas. But my rpms are the same when I'm empty and tops and doors are off.
Going on 5 years since regear and bigger tires. In a conversation with a buddy who has the same gears, 5.13, same Nitto 38s. I used the AEV Procal, he has superchips. At 80 mph I'm at 4000 RPMs, he's at 3100.
I just thought my life is limited to 70 mph. And that's how it's been this hole time...
Ok. Here's one:
Living in Utah these words are a staple in any conversation.
Gosh
Darn
Dang
Fetch
Frigging
Etc....
So, I'm wondering about these words, during intimate moments.
Fetch me! Fetch me harder!
OH MY GOOOOOSSSHHH!
