Mapped out the starting point from the hotel and it is a 6 minute drive. So if I start naving at 6:30am Mapped out the drive from hotel to starting point. 6 minutes. With worse nav skills then ressurectionjk I should arrive on time if I leave the best western at 6:30!!!

Borrego exploring on the 1st day of the year :) What better way to get it started and get away from the rain hitting San Diego!!!! We drove to the entrance of Devil's Canyon so that we could walk the dog up the wash and see what this canyon is like. Eddie I have no idea how you get through...

I started keeping an eye out for this trip posting about two weeks ago :). Even asked for a baofeng radio for Christmas which is the last piece I need to be ready. Hopefully Santa deems me good for the year :)

Went out to Joshua Tree this weekend and was hoping to get to explore the Brooklyn MIne. Turns out they have covered all major entries and shafts in this area..... :( It was not just this area but all surrounding areas had no open entrances or shafts. Anything not covered with a grate had...

That is so sad about the mount breaking....... So cool to get to drive the whole course and see it all. When those trophy trucks come up from behind that has to be a bit unnerving....... Well it would be for me!!! :)
