I am dealing with an oil cooler leak - the O-rings are old, compressed and are causing the oil leak. During replacement, when I took the oil cooler off, some of the leaked oil and coolant mix actually seeped into this hole marked with the red arrow. I was wondering if anyone knew what this hole...

Hows it going everyone, happy new year 2022 . We have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 3.2L , and it was a Christmas present for my teenage daughter with a new driving license !
