Like everyone mentioned, call Clayton. Seems to me most lifts run a little higher than advertised. If I were you I would go with 2 1/2. I put Mopar 2" lift on years ago and all said and done it was almost 3"

I have 2" Mopar lift...more like 3", and went through Fern Ridge no problem on 37's. Been to Moab also and Rausch. Trick is to stay LOW lift as possible to fit desired tires. 99% of the time it is your driving that determines what you get up or do not. I have been in line with ALL buggies on...

Where is the firing range going?

What is the ambient temp when this occurs? Is fan running when coolant temp high? JL fans are LOUD. What is the trans temp when your coolant temp is reaching numbers you state? I have seen temps like you state when on a climb and working the trans.

BTW...I ordered couple of Spicer 1350 joints. Will keep the TWs for spares.

Have you experienced these failing prematurely? Were they greaseable or Non-greaseable?
