Well I started with the gearing in a Rubicon and not 3:21. That is the difference. In that low of gearing yes, you are able to start in second gear. Depends on your terrain and purpose I guess on whether it is right for you.

IMO, 4:88 are best with the manual. Starting in second gear didn't make any sense to me or having to shift twice in order to cross the street. 5:13's sucked to me as a street driven vehicle. Highway driving was horrible too with regards to RPM's. 4:88's brought me back to close to stock Rubi...

Looks like I will have to modify things to make it work out. I might have to notch the EVO gussets too though. And still the front of the coil may possibly hit the track bar bracket. I'll have to get the measuring tape out and get some numbers. Or just get get a PR44 or 60 sooner than later...

Anybody have the DTD set up on a stock 44 axle? I am looking for a pic of the track bar bracket and DTD axle bracket set up. I have an Artec Industries track bar bracket and I don't think it is going to work without some modifications. I have not yet upgraded axles. :(

I've been to the Flats too. Some trails are narly. If it's wet, it a ice rink but that is pretty much anywhere with red clay. I am a FL boy too but have done plenty of snow wheeling. My ex living in JAX beach so I am familiar with your area and wheeling. Worst case google Hurricane Creek road...

Has anybody rebuilt Kings 2.5" Resi shocks themselves? I got these used a while ago and want to make sure they are assembled correctly with regard to the piston compression and rebound etc. One of the valve assemblies was mounted opposite of the others. King is not easy to get info from.
