The neighbors love me!
Heres our tri tip from a couple weeks ago. I go with strait montreal seasoning well spanked on the day before and currently running hickory pellets.
Still undecided for this weekend on mine but tomorrow heading over to help a buddy break in his new Texas elite...
I put together this table. For me, comfortable body postition is half the battle. I try not to do more than tack things up in the garage to avoid the fire risk and for ventilation. I keep an extinguisher handy as well as the hose.
Not one of the experts here, but after the obvious responses you'll see regarding re torque etc, take a look at your front sway bar links and make sure the bushings are in good shape.
I chased some pretty good body roll issues and narrowed it to some shot link bushings on my passenger side...
Warn RC front with tube guard. Looking for $475 or best realistic offer. I think retail on this is close to $900 plus shipping. Local pickup only or may be willing to meet in North County SD.
After checking around the last few weeks with the local Discount outlets, it looks like the Nitto mud grapplers are not available and no one knows when they will be. My 2nd choice being the Goodyear Mtr's in the 12.50 are also on national backorder.
I really prefer to stick with Discount for...
Was telling my buddy about this and thought some of you guys may have come across similar setups. Curious to hear about any one elses experiences. To say the least we didn't follow the line too far. Looks like we weren't far from some ones remote garden.
I didn't have room for the added 1/4" plate for the bracket so I went this route to avoid the drag link. I added some steel/gusset in the after paint shot. probably doesn't help but maybe food for thought.
This is what combination didnt work for me. But as said above you may need more droop to fit your breaker bar or impact. I wrestled that same match a few months ago.
After blowing another seal last week its time to get the hydro assist going. Am curious as to any preferences (pros/cons)on going with the single shear style bolt connection type clamp with the welded boss, or the weld on tabs (double shear I believe) to clamp. I have an aftermarket 1.5" OD tie...
Was a nice quick run, got back home in time for a 2 beer swim in the pool and catch the Charger game in the 2nd qtr. came across only 2 jeeps on the trail. Must have been the blistering 90* heat on the trail lol.
Revised. The reservation is currently not allowing Jeeps. She couldn't tell me why but it may be due to fire hazard or the rez doesn't need the entry fees.
Anyhow, were hitting Pancake rock Sunday instead if anybody is interested.
As mentioned above, I shit canned the OE metric bolt and went with a longer 9/16" dia. grade 8 bolt. I went with a .25" thick square washer each side for more beef. Changed out bolt when I pressed in new bushings a few months ago. Mine wasn't wallowed out so I haven't welded yet, but next time I...
