I've decided to leave them on, however, the close I get I will be removing them and putting them in the back, probably just the front two. The back is getting full quick.

It is vinyl. I just take a straight edge and a blade and cut pieces out, and lay them on the grill. My last JK had the whole grill done, I just started this one..
