I overstepped, won't happen again
If you want beefy sliders, take a look at Next Venture Motorsports TJ Sliders. They come in 1/4" and have optional tubing. I also hear there will be a TJ slider giveaway in a couple weeks
JK coil springs will fit a TJ, but the advertised lift height wont be the same
A 4" lift with 1" body will fit 35s perfectly. I run a 4" currie coil with a 1.25" bl on metric 35s and there is more than enough room with stock fenders and rubicon fender flares
So a little update
Intalled a 50" dual row light bar to test fit the prototype Next Venture Motorsports TJ/LJ windshield mounts
Also got a new set of 315 75 16 Falken Wildpeak MTs today
No rush in this, but I'm looking to trade my LJ rubicon for a JKU
Specs:
2006 jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
4.0L 6spd 88k miles
D44 front and rear, air lockers, Ten factory chromoly rear axle shafts
4-1 Tcase
4" Currie Coils, Bilstein 5100 shocks, adjustable trackbar and adjustable arms...
Let's see your Rotopax and where they're mounted! I'm trying to get ideas of where to mount a 4 Gal on the LJ, but different mounting ideas could be helpful to others
I'm looking for the total space occupied by a 4 gallon rotopax from the mount to the very end (probably at the handle?). So if anyone has a 4 gallon rotopax, the real life measurement would be greatly appreciated! I've been planning on adding a 4gal pack to my warn tire carrier between the back...
Little update: Grooved the Falkens, Installed a Savvy cable shifter, and installed JKS bar pin eliminators. Also, bent the drivers side rear 44 shaft, so Ten Factory Chomoly shafts went in
