Started smelling antifreeze yesterday but could not find a leak....Was in Cortland today so I swung by the dealer that I bought the Jeep from a week ago....Turns out the raidator needs to be replaced as it has a tiny leak underneath the shroud....They said this is the 2nd...

I gave up on the dealer and replaced it on my dime..
As stated above that BIG band aid masked whatever the dealer couldn't find/fix enough so that pig was driveable again..
Would the problem have eventually cooked the dual SS ?? Hard to say, luckily I never had to find that out..
Thats was for the dealer to decide under warranty not me I'm not an ASE certified mechanic....As posted above it was my 1st JK and was traded off years ago..

I've always been of the opinion that when something breaks replace it with something stronger/better.......IMO I did just that.
Plus, I like to decide what my needs are..
For me it was a looks thing on my 1st JK..
Also works good as a grab handle when I'm pulling my fat ass out from underneath the front end.....They also work well as a place to wrap a recovery strap around..
