I made a similar thing, except I expanded it to do two tires at once, which balances the pressure equally on each side of the differential. I use this balance hose to both deflate and inflate. I can also use it to quickly borrow air from the spare while on the trail.
EVO does not require removal of springs. I just welded on EVO gussets this week. I did use a pry bar (2nd person) to lift the base of the coil spring up, to have better access to the upper gusset weld at base of the spring perch - it was no big deal.
Wow, I never see Knox trailers. Nice camping set up. I bought my 1952 Knox from my dad in the 80's when I had a Willy's 1948 CJ2A and painted it to match the Jeep. I sold the Willy's many years ago and now tow it behind my 2012 Wrangler (my 2nd jeep). I have not changed anything on it since I...

Attached are some photo's. The tire fits like the jeep was designed for a 35" tire. The tire just fits under the 3rd brake light and snuggly into the bumper cutout.
I am very happy with this setup. I can simultaneously deflate two stock 32" tires from 35 psi to 20 psi in 1 minute - 10 seconds. I can then inflate them ( two tires) back up to 35 psi in 3 minutes using my Superflow MV50 portable air compressor.
Parts:
1. ¼” Air hose with ¼” male ends. I cut...
