What's your view like at work?

Go for it! There are a LOT of plans and kits out there. Plans are great if you have tools, kits are great if you don't. Once you have built and paddled enough, you can develop your own design. I started years ago with the Wee Lassie plans ( an 1800's design) I still build using strips, but these...

EVO Double Throwdown install write ups?

So I am doing my research on installing the DTD front and rear install, with the long arm upgrade to follow a few months later. This will be done in my man cave, with the help of my brother (former mechanic, now robotics engineer) and a friend who is a welder (mig/ tig/ and underwater stuff) I...

    A REAL offroad vehicle!

So today this guy walked over to my Jeep and looked it over. When I walked over, he shook his head and said "For what you have spent on this thing you could have had a down payment on a REAL off road vehicle like mine!" I was about to respond with some thing witty, when my wife piped up with "A...

    Hood mount vs windshield mount

Im afraid of the dark.... As far as the 50, cap the ends and there is no whistling. I strap my canoes and paddle boards up all the time with out damaging the light bar.

Permanently attaching a tomahawk sheath on cabin, some Q's

I guess if they are concerned about the axe, they will really hate the guns....? Not many CC in your area I take it? Here in the Redneck Riviera they just assume we are carrying. Hell, most trucks still have a gun rack in the rear window....

    Some EVO DTD questions.

I see there are quite a few people here running the EVO DTD set up. Having determined that this will be the ultimate suspension for the varied driving I am going to be doing, I have some questions. First, here is my JKU now. Poison Spyder Crusher Flares, RK 2.5 Max Travel (upgraded to all 8...

    Mall Crawling with my Princess

Ditched my wife and oldest daughter to shop and took my baby out for an afternoon. Daddy and Princess time is the best! She's all Princess, but she's my best Jeeping buddy. Rain or shine she is always ready to go for a ride.

Building a weather proof trunk cover.

Thanks! Boat building is a hobby. I would love to make a living at it..maybe a retirement income? Any way the "hinges" are really just 3 inch wide velcro strips from West Marine. They are held by small door u shaped pulls. All they really do is help keep the deck front edge from being pushed...

Maybe I should make some paper templates? That way someone with the tools can cut it out for you? Dave

Building a weather proof trunk cover.

Thanks! But I can't really claim to have thought of the lip, I just modified boat construction methods for the lip and the hatch.
