Yes painting anything on the undercarriage is almost temporary paint because of debris flying around under there, especially when wheeling. I painted mine with high temp rustoleum. I used a sander and a wire brush to prep it and then taped off things I didn't want black or didn't want paint in...

I've often wondered about wheeling psi in mud. It seems having them inflated a little more would help you out in mud as opposed to our normal low psi. Just curious as to how this works in mud. Can anyone clarify? [thread jacked sorry] :bummed:

Dad's looking to get 35" Mud or trail grapplers on his 6cyl TJ. I hear they're heavier than most tires. We're wondering how bad of an mpg drop he's going to see. He already has a 4" lift and 33s. Also, how well do they wear on the road (compared to each other)?

Elementary school pencil sharpener is what it looks like. haha jk. That is where your distributor needs to be. The adapter connected to it is the ignition coil. So your looking at a lack of a distributor. Obviously this is vital to running the engine as your spark plugs are directly connected...
