Time for my Gladiator to Evolve: My '20 Billet Silver JT Rubicon Build

Haha, thanks. Life is definitely much improved. Glad to be single and back in a Jeep on 40s again. 😆

Time for my Gladiator to Evolve: My '20 Billet Silver JT Rubicon Build

Have a bit more tire clearance now thanks to a Quake LED fender chop kit with the smoke slim DRLs. Easy install and happy with how it turned out. Also removed the inner portion of the rear flares as well. Probably going to order some metal wheel well liners to clean the loom up a bit, maybe the...

Time for my Gladiator to Evolve: My '20 Billet Silver JT Rubicon Build

It’s been awhile. Was going to trade the JT in to get my soon to be ex-wife a car (in process divorce) but decided to take advantage of the hot diesel truck market and sell my ‘18 F250 Platinum. Since the JT is staying I snagged a used set of 40” Trail Grapplers with only 10k miles on KMC...

North East crew: Rausch Creek trip?

I feel like it's been ages since I've been out on the trails with many of you in the northeast area. I haven't wheeled my JT in over year. Is anyone interested in getting together some weekend for a Rausch Creek trip before the whole state freezes over into misery?

    Ford Superduty Engines

Yes the tune helps, also the significantly less restrictive exhaust. I should mention that’s with the cruise set at 70mph. I don’t drive too fast on the highway. I gained 2-3 mpg all around compared to stock.

That’s a fact. You’d have a whole other issue. A dpf was unobtainable when I had issues, 60- 90 day back order at the time, turning the truck into an $80k driveway ornament. I handled it myself in 3 days. Luckily I don’t live Cali.

    Ford Superduty Engines

I have a '17 F250 Platinum with the 6.7 PSD. I love it. I tow my 5th wheel rv with it. The only issue I had is the DPF not finishing regen cycles. When using the truck on short, local drives when not towing it would never finish a regen cycle. I had a warning a few times about having to pull...

Time for my Gladiator to Evolve: My '20 Billet Silver JT Rubicon Build

Felt motivated to get it done. It wouldn’t fit in the garage! I live in a nice neighborhood but I don’t trust people enough to leave it outside long term with my spare and on-call to box in the bed.

Got impatient and mocked up the spare tire to the rack using the oem spare tire cable. The straps are a backup for now. I need a piece of 3/16” steel to use as a doubler to reinforce the cargo basket floor to better distribute the load to the crossmembers.

That’s pretty much why I want to do. Remove my own spare tire cable mechanism to under the rack that way I can just lay the spare in the bed and crank it up.

Got my tractor supply light bar and my spare tire strapped down up too for the time being. The light should help when I’m in the middle of nowhere at night working in a broken helicopter. The tire certainly won’t be staying up there. Too high for my liking.

Time for my Gladiator to Evolve: My '20 Billet Silver JT Rubicon Build

I swung by my local dealer today to schedule some service and they had a used JT Sport on the lot that was recently traded in. It was traded in with a JCR half height bad rack and cargo basket. Asked them if they’d sell it and they were all about it. Picked the whole thing up for $500 and...

    38X12.50R17 NITTO Ridge Grapplers

If I could get my hands on a set now I’d throw them on to replace my 37” Nitto Trail Grapplers on my Gladiator. The Ridge Grappler seems like it would be more fitting for a Jeep that sees mostly on road use.

Anyone bought the Top Lift Pros top remover?

Another DIY method is two kayak hoists from Dicks Sporting Goods. Whole thing cost me $50. Works great.
