VIDEO : RockJock HD High Steer Kit Installation

All you had to say was, I will report back after I have driven it a while longer . Subjective or not I still valued your opinion which is why I had been a member for 10 years much longer on other Jeep Forums. Jeeps are not new to this 70 year old but some time I still appreciate others opinions...

VIDEO : RockJock HD High Steer Kit Installation

This is a quote from another install from another company . " After the install was complete, we immediately noticed an improvement in steering that only improved further as the ball joints broke in. We’ve found the Jeep to be more directionally stable, with less wander, and just overall...

I was ony curious as to what your feelings were about the kit .Most experienced people can see what it looks like and I have read the description written by Currie and I was only looking for your honest opinion but you insist on thinking I am just being a dick because I asked for your opinion ...

At only 3"of lift I have slight bump steer when hitting dips at speed when both sides of the suspension is compressed . The more angled the two are vertically the more likely you are to get a little bump steer ( even with OE TB & DL ) along with the tendency for more steering correction...

VIDEO : RockJock HD High Steer Kit Installation

I see a lot of posts about unboxing but Nothing about how it changed on road characteristics similar to other installs . Video showed leaving garage and entering after test ride nothing in between. I know it does effect it and really thought it would of been mentioned . It effects the...

    Rock jock adjustable control arms

If your uppers are stock length set the lowers about 24 5/16". That should get you good enough until the day you decide to have it checked.OR as I do adjust the lowers until the pinion is at 0 degrees which will put you around 6 degrees pos caster . I normally put a bottle jack on the flat spot...

    Debating on which lift.

My daughter has a 2.5" spacer lift on her JL . She complained about the wind effecting it on the Garden state parkway ( 65-75 mph road ) . I seen how much the Ranch Geo brackets effected my JT compared to just longer lower control arms . I installed a set on her JL and swapped the Mopar...

    Caster?

Another easy way on a JL or JT is to put your angle finder on you round front diff spreader holes cast into the housing either side of the cover . When it is at 0 or 90 degrees depending on your angle finder your caster is at 6 degrees which is better than stock on any model JL or JT . Naturally...

    Sharpen Up Steering?

I did a couple things that tighten up things steering wise. Mine was not bad to begin with but I have always been kind of a stickler when it comes to steering and tracking . First thing I did after installing the MOPAR lift on my Gladiator was a pair of Rancho Geometry correction brackets and...

2 or 3" plush ride springs?

notnalc68 that looks about right as far as what I am looking for in the front as far as just looking at it and if not a small spacer in the front will get it where I need to be . I was just afraid the 3" will put me to far over the height I am trying to end up at . Mine looks a little taller...

2 or 3" plush ride springs?

On a light 2dr which would be the best way to get at the most about 3.25" of actual lift in the front. I don't plan on adding any weight in the future and don't want to go any higher than about 3.25". 2" spring and a spacer or would the 3" front springs do it? I understand the 3" on a 2dr would...

To tint or not to tint

I like it on my daily driver. I don't think its such a great idea on a rig that sees wheeling at night .
