Has anyone used ORI off-road shocks on their JKU? They are supposed to be superior off road but what about applications where you drive mostly off road but some on road too? Is the on road temperament acceptable?

I am going to be in California for three months this summer (Lake Tahoe) and notice they have a law requiring mud flaps and fenders covering the tires. Is this strictly enforced or is it something that the cops usually look the other way but will enforce if you are being a jerk?

I have Beilstein 5160s and mount them to the shock. I tried to mount the fronts somewhere creative, but nothing I tried appealed to me. Here is a picture of the back.

Eddie, you are the rock crawling king. I hold your opinion and insight in high regard. We just do different kinds of trails. It would help if I had 40s too. In Central Texas we have a lot of ledges that we go off of (up and down) These play havoc on JKUs due to their long wheel base.
