Evo Mfg Gen 2 Rock Sliders??

I believe they sell sliders that are identical to the EVO sliders...

FMF's are close but you can distinguish between the 2. The VKS ones will make you take a second look as they are more similar to the EVO sliders. You can definitely tell they all based them off the EVO's though.

Damn! Is that the EVO rear bumper? I've been looking for some decent pics of it. I run a rear jump seat and was wondering if the center section of the bumper had enough of a lip to use as a step to get in the back. Also, I was about to ask how many have run into issues hitting the bottom of the rear quarters to warrant a rear bumper. I was considering running the EVO rear fascia again, but I'll be a little lower this time so I was thinking an actual bumper that covered that area might be in order this time. Looks like you got hot in the exact area I am concerned about!
 
So second dumb question of the day ... When welding on the sliders the two closer mounting points are to the rear correct ?

I shit the bed on that one man, sorry. Been busy. I wouldnt use that little lip as a step but if you have a hitch and the little step that plug in its perfect for the kids and climbing in the back.

bumper is once again just sitting in the frame rails with one bolt holding it on but you get the idea.

Or one could argue that EVO gen 2 sliders are copies of VKS.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not advocating one over the other. Just pointing out the obvious. Run whatever you like in my opinion.

Funny thing is the original Evo prototype sliders look more like the gen2 Evo sliders than the gen 1.

Shocking I know..

Just got my hen 2 sliders welded up today ! They look great but I was just wondering there is maybe a 1/4 inch gap between the mounts and the pinch seem, do they fled at all ?

you should have a 1/2 gap between the tubes coming out and the pinch welds or in EVO's measurements, a thumbs width. You would have to nail the shit out of something to get them to bend up.
 
They look good! Glad that I preemptively ordered a set. Can't wait for them to get here. :thumb:

Did it on Cadillac hill on the rubicon trail in my orange jk. Thumb width and it dented the shit out the the tub. You can see the indent from the slider perfect front and rear.
