Where did your Jeep take You this Week?

They did allow camping (primitive) several of my friends camped out and several including myself stayed at nearby hotels.......awesome time wheeling we will be back again for years to come........by far one of the best Jeep events I've been to on the east coast :thumb:

Good to know. I must plan for the next one they do..

Well I can't say my jeep took me anywhere this week except the dealership and further in debt. So I figured that since my jeep was in the shop I'd take my ole bronco out and let her stretch its legs for the day in carizzo plains in California. Up to new York state for work... GPS let me take back roads the whole way up. 3 hour drive, only one highway involved, I couldn't have wished for a nicer adventure vehicle! Well.. Except for lockers and 35s maybe haha... sometime soon... 😀👍

Back to work.

You on the NTC side or the normal side of Irwin?
Saw those painted rocks about a year and a half ago and will be seeing them again next year for our rotation. As nice as it would be to be stationed at Irwin and be 6 hours from home, screw that and living in the desert. I'm too white and pasty. I burn just thinking about the heat. Lmao

Went on a 1,500 mile round trip that started in Yuma, Arizona. Drove through California and stopped at the Hoover Dam in Nevada. Then drove to Zion in Utah and monument Valley Ut. Lastly we went through Sedona, Az to hit Broken Arrow and catch the sunset. Only casualty was the latch on the tire carrier that broke off on the trail. Sorry for no pics but we rolled the GFs JKU down to Charleston SC from EKy this weekend. wonderful weekend and enjoyable drive down. still amazed how well the JKUs travel. The trip home however sucked, filled the JKU up with Diesel, and yes the nozzle fit right in the jeep? had lay under the poor thing and pump of the the entire contents of the tank while my GF cried because she was afraid her jeep was doomed. after i got that all fixed we headed home, 511 showed WV was a crap show bc if the snow storm so we had to come up US 23 through NC, VA and KY in the worst part of the storm. JKU took great care of us though.

Got some Rocky Mountain hike time this morning. If some of you find these pictures very familiar, it is the exact same backdrop used on the 2016 JK Experience website. Photo is taken from the exact same spot too. And not in Alaska, lol. Here in Colorado.
