REPTAR...Same rig, just a proper build thread.

So back when I first became an active member on the forum I would "creep" the build threads and just read up on everyones rigs. Who did what, what worked well, what didn't and so on. Well I made a build thread, what seems to be a long time ago and it really didn't show as much as i hoped it would have. I was just into throwing everything everywhere on my thread so here it is finally an organized place to show off the progress of my rig and what I am looking at doing in the near future.

So my rig is known as REPTAR...yes like the dinosaur from Rugrats... so now that we have gotten past that here it is.

Yes sir, I had an old build thread from when I first started building up Reptar but it was a mess and highly disorganized.

Your insta tag is similar to the one here no?

It's a jeep thing, always need to have plans.

Installed my new rugged ridge modular bumper and a set of front rock lights since we have had issue with night runs for the spotters

The 4" coils. How do they ride? The fox shocks a good match? How much did you get out of them? I sometimes here they are actually 3.5".

the 4 inch coils aren't too bad, i was told the match between the fox shocks and full traction coils wasn't going to be the best...but in my opinion i love it. i have a few friends running synergy coils instead and theirs are fairly close in ride, possibly a little smoother. but with that said i do love the match up and im netting about 3.5 inches of lift i would say. at least last i checked it was sitting about there.

Installed new synergy tie rod, synergy drag link, and jks disconnects, adjusted A/F ratio, fixed my clogged catalytic converters and swapped just about my entire front end in the past week. All prior to our trip up north for the fall colour run with 4GIVEN4x4 am Jeeps Without Borders

few pictures form the colour run a few weeks back. got the jeep flexing and really worked in the suspension since all the trails in the end were like this and more.

Rugged Ridge hood louver added tonight, 4 rigid industry pods and a 12 inch LED bar to be installed later in the week.

yea i go a few times a year to test a few things out!

So far the quality seems top notch. Didn't like the evo Louver coming out and the psc didn't do it for me. These vents are far larger but the cut out they provide give a spot that's weak so I altered the upper vents cut out and drill points. Added 2 and now it has amazing rigidity. Better than the last few louvers I helped with

we are currently in the works of planning a silver lake trip during the jeep weekend they are having in the area. And drummond island is amazing!! we are currently trying the line up schedules to make it out the big drummond island weekend they host each year. We need to get all together this summer and there are a lot of chances coming up. we just lifted the mrs' jeep lol. so she is dying to go to silver lake solo in her jeep. we are doing snoblind next month...well not snow-blind but rather wheeling with jeeps without borders in the same area.
