Updated Texas Hidden Falls Adventure Park Newbie Run Oct 2nd-3rd

Guess I should finally get around to introducing myself. My name is Jeremy (Jpat30) and I am radleyhardy's friend listed on the first page, lol. and as you can see I most certainly do not drive a JK:blush: This is my heep; 2003 WJ running 3 inches of lift via OME HD coils front and rear, Bilstein 5100s, and JKS adj tracbar. It currently rides on 32 inch KO2s on JK takeoffs. I love this rig and it has taken my family and I all over the state of Texas and beyond. I am not new to jeeps or 4wheelin and am always looking for a good reason to get out and explore. I thoroughly enjoy meeting fellow jeepers and the fellowship that comes with this hobby. I am super excited about this trip as I have wanted to make it to HF forever it seems. With me, I will be bringing my 17 year old son and we too will be camping. I really appreciate being able to tag along and look forward to meeting everyone.

Welcome aboard Jeremy! Look forward to wheeling with you.

Thanks for the welcome guys. It has been very refreshing to find such a welcoming group to be a part of. Some groups can be a little cliquish......Look forward to meeting up with everybody.

Damn, I don't know what's worse...planning this and not being able to go, or going and not being able to wheel???

Sorry to hear man...:grayno:

I would have to say planning and not going, you wont be able to wheel but you can still hangout and have good time lol

:cheesy: Yep, agreed. I guess I should have put up a #rhetorical. I know how bad it sucks to plan it and not go and it really, really sucks. I mean, Angry Aussie is all by himself, taking pictures and drinking beer! :D So radley, you need to keep him company.

Welcome! I've been looking forward to this trip since day one. This Jeep Girl is looking forward to hanging out and wheeling with what seems a great group of Texas Wayalifers.

So my cb crapped out on me (too many times getting caught in the rain). I was wondering if something like the Cobra handheld cb would work? I dont really want to have to wire up another radio and this seems like a good alternative if it'll work.

If not, its back to the drawing board for me. Hopefully ill have it all ready by the time we leave.

Don't know much about that one but what about the Cobra 75 WX? You could put a DC plug on it and take it out when you don't need it but you still get the use of a full size antenna.

This is what I use. I like the mobile feature and the ability to lock it up if naked. Only thing I had to attach to the Jeep was an antenna mount, antenna and antenna cable...

Wouldn't it be plug n' play if you replaced your CB with the same model?
