LOL!! Here's a couple of fanboy posts that were made on our FB page that I just had to share. This first one actually tries to suggest that all tire carriers will break at some point and time :cheesy:

This next one is great...

Who purposefully compares their product of choice with Shittybilt? And, in all fairness, I have never heard of one breaking :cheesy:

Due to this thread I made it a point to check my tire carrier (Shittybilt). It has been on my JK for about 2 years along with front bumper, wench & side rails. I do trail my JK & Shittybilt is on my rig due to the deal of a life time. I do know that Shittybilt does not have the best reputation among Jeepers & there are things that I personally do not like about their products myself. With that said; all appeared to be good with my tire carrier (no cracks found). I am not ass hurt at all about someone informing me if there is a problem with a product that could get someone killed. If you know something that I need to know about any dangers of any Shittybilt products that I have; please let me know. I will be checking out the rest of my stuff today. Thanks Eddie for the info that you provide here.
:thankyou:

That carrier is 700? jeesh, why dont people just save their pennies a little bit more an can have a bullet proof evo carrier, 700 your almost there....:idontknow:

I really have to agree that it is installer error... It's the installers error for installing a bad product. He is also right in thousands of unfailed carriers sitting on the shelves:thumbup:

"Thousands upon thousands"?!? That means at least 2,000 carriers which, at $700, equals $1.4 mil gross. First, I don't believe him. If he is telling the truth about his sales numbers then that is scary how many of these ticking time bombs are out there. It is only a matter of time before one of them truly fails and someone gets hurt.

TF might want to spend some of that $1.4 million on a good lawyer. Maybe then TF will figure out that it can't hide behind the "installer error" shield forever.

Don't think you need to worry about your shittybuilt parts killing anyone. They are just not liked due to poor quality and fit. When it's made in China, you can expect crap metal, welds, powder coat, assembly, fit and finish. But if you already have the products and they work fine for you, then keep using them till they either rust away or fall apart from use.

I've got this tf. Tire carrier, bounced it all over moab with no issues so far. I'll keep a close eye on it.

I think you should make a commercial in the spirit of the asbestos litigation firms...

"Have you or your loved ones purchased a TF tire carrier? Have you been accused of wrongful installation? Have you worried while driving behind one of the freeway? Perhaps after a trail run? Then call us at the Sharkey law firm....."

:cheesy:

Never said it would just self-destruct, just to keep an eye on it. As I keep saying, it'll only take one to really hurt someone.

This is all you've ever said from the beginning and that you wouldn't recommend buying one, especially for the cost. Love how people (FB Fans???) have put words in your mouth or try to connect with paid advertisers/forum sponsors here.

Made in China, imagine the profit ....

Yup, won't be buying their spacer lift now. Hard to believe that a company won't even look into these claims and simply blame the "installer".

In all fairness I have their 2.5" spacer lift and it has done fine. I haven't had any issues with any of the components and I have checked them a couple times in the past few months. This is the only TF product I will ever buy. I decided that before I even knew about the tire carrier issues. I have just never liked their products. With that said their spacer lift is just a plastic puck more or less. I feel more confident with that than I would anything like the tire carrier or full suspension lift. :twocents::twocents:

The spacer lift is coming out as soon as I have saved up for the Evo Enforcer/BO coilovers (haven' decided).

LOL!! A memo must have been sent out or something as the hate on FB is strong today

It is always fascinating the reaction of people (the WAL/Eddie haters) when the truth is told to them. Just how they refuse to believe it after sufficient evidence and all. Human behavior sure can be weird.

I don't think that their spacer lift is bad. I'm more troubled by the "hey it is YOUR fault" response and honestly, I just don't want to give them any of my money now. :grayno:
