Tea, Crumpets, and JK Dual Steering Stabilizers

All JK's have a tiny bit of bumpsteer like said. It's inevitable. The one stabilizer should help.

How is your steering box, not sure if you answered me in this big mess ?

Sorry I cant keep up with the tyrade. My steering box is in good shape with no discernible play anywhere in the steering range. aside from a minor leak in the seal at the bottom of the sector shaft. There is no air in the system and all custom earl's hose have no leaks so no foaming causing a spongy fluid.

Spot on.

Hey, next time you head out to Addictive give me a shout. I miss my boy Jason and would love to see your rig in person!

Addictive is a drive, but I talked to Jason about some minor changes to my rig that I didn't want to take on myself. I also do some of the local gtg's. PM me if you're ever out and about.

Jackal01, you're not imposing and you're definitely welcome to come. I just dunno when I plan on doing this.

Anyways I don't want to derail a useless thread from continuing to be useless....so back to the regular scheduled eye bleed inducing programming.

For sure man, will do. He said that you might be bringing it out there and you are right, it's a horrible drive, especially by yourself. Haha! I was going to convoy it out there with you, it makes it a little less mundane that way.

Time and place. As long as I can get a day or two notice. :thumb:

Back on topic..sorta...maybe.

Right I have just removed the stock tie rod mounted stamped steel stabilizer bracket from the jeep. I have been for a drive and no wobble. I went down the roughest road I could find and the problem seems to be gone. I can only surmise that the single sheer design was flexing a small amount and causing a whipping motion due to the weight of the tires. So im back to one stabilizer in the new location. Ill keep you posted.

A cannot do that. Im not a tech head. Is there an app on android market that will allow this?

Physically with string.
That's a good question though. Not sure if there's a app that can draw lines ?
If somebody wants to be nice ... They can do it for you.

Here you go. I used picsart for anyone interested.

The wobble is completely eliminated now. I am surprised that the stock tie rod mount was so springy. It did not show up while checking it from underneath while someone steered the wheels. Only when on the road at speed. So now im thankfully back to one stabilizer.
