After replacing the clutch a couple weeks ago. One of the noises persisted after the new clutch pack and throw out bearing. Turns out the pilot bearing was bad as well

. So I’m picking up more parts tomorrow and will be pulling the transmission AGAIN next weekend.

That sucks. At least it’s familiar territory.

Fixing the backing nut the broke off in the crossmember. Also found a crack in the crossmember mounting bracket.

If the tack welds keep popping on the backing nuts I will need one. But then again it also could be nice to have all matching bolts in it. [emoji23]
