Awkward...

So I am driving and a guy in a Hummer gives me the 2 finger wave. I was kind thrown off. Did he think I was in a Hummer, did he think he was in a Jeep, was I suppose to wave back? I just kind of passed by in a slight confused state and did nothing. Weird...

lol, I've definitely waved to a few Jeeps while driving my Jetta or my wife's 4Runner...

Haha! My girlfriend and i were at a family function and her cousin walked in the house and asked "who's hummer is parked outside". I almost slapped him and quickly corrected him.

I guess some people just don't know vehicles.....

Sent from some trail, somewhere

oh man thats funny, I got grilled the other day by a guy in an h3 when I was on my way back to rausch creek...his was covered in mud from the day before but still thought it was funny

I have totally done this while driving other vehicles.
Sad thing though, is I drive the jeep everywhere 95% of the time and I ALWAYS wave at other jeeps. I would say a good 90% of people just look at me dazed. Only sure fire way to get a wave back is to be on Ft. Bliss when I wave.

That is funny. As a kid growing up in New Mexico and Texas we waved at anyone driving, it was expected. Now, just Jeep drivers and then your occasional unexpected...

not from Texas but I know what yah mean. grew up in a small town and every one waves now I'm in the big city and seems like every one is just to darn buisy to wave...... even some jeep owners sad day

The fun thing is I take the kids with me and they start waving at everyone because they see me wave at a passing Jeep. Confuses people and some of the responses are pretty funny. There are some people that get all pissed off, lighten up...

One of my buddies is stationed at Bliss with a Crush JKU Rubicon.. Let me know if he doesn't wave back and I'll have a word with him LOL

Absolutely, I grew up in west TX close to the NM state line. And everyone waved. The farmers usually give you the one finger over the steering wheel wave, usually the four fingers over the wheel. And the first person that sees you broke down on the side of the road, stops to help. If not them, then the second person.

I waved at someone in a Jeep sitting next to me at a stoplight the other day in my fiances Saab, the guy kinda waves and goes "you're not in your Jeep man" whooooops

Yep! I remember that and slow people would pull to the shoulder and let you pass. Those were the days.

Today a liberty was across a stop sign from me. As we were bout to pass each other he shot up a wave. I quickly flipped on the p.a. and said "son, get a real jeep before you wave". I hope he heard me.
