I recommend flippin the hitch over .. it will sit more on a level side when towing .. havent done mine as yet but then it isnt easy to do while traveling

Yup... just did that along with extending the tongue for better gate clearance. Bought this thing without actually ever seeing one in person... sits quite a bit higher than I expected, but going to be a fun project!

Well I've been back an forth between refitting the beast I used for my trip or getting something more practical ... have a 2016 gulfstream vista cruiser in my sights, 19erd floor plan .. found a decent deal that's to good to pass on considering I wanna move into it ft .. so well see ... its pushing the limits pretty tight with what I can carry but dry cones in under with roughly 500 # to spare .. I see a regear comin pretty quick if I get it .. looks real close to this just different paint 8515970_19.jpeg 7628978_1.jpeg

If you can hold off until around July you can get a brand new one for just about cost. June 1st is when the next year's models will be out and you can get the previous year's really cheap because the dealers will be trying to get rid off the old inventory for the new ones

Well a new one is roughly 20 -25 depending on where your at the one I happened across while 2 yrs old is just under 15 and am getting a bit of warranty on it so that's always a bit of bonus as well ... but it isnt a done deal as yet either as I'm still on the fence on if I am gonna get it or not .. as i do like the aframe pop ups quite a bit as well just not any dealers in my local area so a bit harder to explore the option

The 2020's will be hitting the dealership in June and you can still get a 2019 around July or August and it will be just about at dealer cost. I use to deliver campers

3863.jpg this one here listed for $145,000 but the dealers cost was around $70,000. When the dealer says that they have a little wiggle room on the price they have more than a little. They hate to sale the Rv's to the people who deliver them because when I was transporting them I had all the paperwork including the bill of sale for What they paid for it

I am in the process of building my own trailer using a tub and lid from anchor mountain Overland. That way I can set up the RTT and go wheeling for the day and leave camp set up. Here are some pictures for you guys. First is of the bare tub they send you and the other one is what I hope my finished project will look like. IMG_6409.JPG IMG_6415.JPG

Glad you got something. Great that you can make it into what you want now.

Are you going to put plumbing in, or keep it dry?
