Help!

Random question but im replacing my broken camshaft sensor on the distributer and apparently i have the sucky one. Do i have to remove the entire distributer to remove this rod outta the way so i can put in my new sensor?

Do you always have to have the distributer in "top dead center center position when you remove and install the same distributer?

No but it sure does make it a LOT easier to reinstall when you're done doing what you need to do.

You should be able to mark it. Just make sure you mark the rotor inside too so it's pointed at the same spot. Truthfully, it's been so long since I've removed one, I can't remember the exact details, but I know I've marked them before rather than rotating the engine to #1TDC.

Hey guys! I just put in this new camshaft position sensor in the distributer. Because my old one was in pieces, idk how the new one goes in but i tried, does this look right?
