Don't know the cost of that tool, but probably would be worth it's weight in gold, as you could set up your own gears and know it is done right and save the cost of having a shop do it. A major obstacle in that task is R&R of the bearings.

Might I ask what that tools costs and do they have a good reputation for standing behind them?

Bingo. I'm really tired of trusting shops and would rather do my own work. I'm going to regear the JK soon and am assembling tools. When I use to do gears, I don't ever recall a tool quite like this for removing bearings. I saw this gem used by a couple guys on YouTube and it seemed awesome. I decided to buy it. It was about 200 bucks. Looks like a couple of companies make one. Not sure of the warranty on it, but it's large and solid steel. Seems well made.

You can also watch YouTube videos to see this thing zip bearings right off. The other cool thing is that the arbor uses a 36mm socket which most jeepers already have.
