Thanks! Ha ha! No. The muffler is polished stainless steel with a little mud added from the trail. I made sure to get the clear plastic off the muffler. The tailpipe discolored already, if that’s what you are seeing. I scraped the part number stickers off the intermediate pipe and tailpipe but could still smell some adhesive burning off for the first 40-50 miles.

BTW, the hardest part of the job for me was getting the factory exhaust off. PB Blaster is your friend!

Great! Thanks for the tip! I love the smell of new burning Jeep exhaust in the morning.

Reused one of the stock hangers here, worked out well. Once again, Thanks to everyone that has posted on this mod! Fun day.

Well, I'm thinking next Saturday. And the little woman got her schedule changed so she is off Saturdays now and can come play with Olaf too.

I just need to figure out where to go. Ideas?
