What a pain on the ass. That much fluid on the ground is a pretty decent axle seal leak though. How long was this going on before you repaired it?
Being that Moby has locking, I let it go longer than I should have but if oil can get out, water can get in and if we use him to do any wheeling this summer, water WILL be an issue.

And yes, changing out the seals with locking hubs is a really pain in the ass.

This is how it started...

I tried my hardest to ignore it but, before I knew it, Moby was up on the rack...

Unfortunately, one thing I forgot to get before tearing everything apart was a pair of spindle lock washers. 🤦‍♂️
Fortunately, Summit Racing had them in stock and they're local to me.

Between thoroughly cleaning the hubs and repacking the bearings and of course, the unexpected trip to Summit, one little leak turned into a heck of a long day LOL

Oh, did I ever mention just how much I LOVE these new gear oil in a bag things?

Now - time for more maintenance. You know, being that Moby is already racked up and all 🤪
ughhh.. thanks, reminds me I've got both front inner seals leaking on the JK, but I'm slim and easily fit under a lifted Jeep :ROFLMAO:
