Used Dana 44

So I found a 2016 front Rubicon Dana 44 on craigslist. 18,000 miles and complete other than shafts. Guy said he'd take 500 for it. That's a pretty good deal right?

He originally had it for sale for 1800 because he was moving out west. He has since moved and just needs it gone.

Yes just get the polarity correct and pull the cover to see it engage. ( would be wise to do this anyways to inspect the gears). Or possibly peep through the fill hole. I suppose you could also measure the indicator circuit I’m just not sure exactly how it’s set up. Should be simple enough. I sold my stocker for 1800 without knuckles or brakes. But it had c-gussets, 5.13’s, chromo shafts and I threw in the stock shafts. Just as a comparison.
