Rear gate activated lights

I’m in the process of addressing the lack of interior light in the Jeep. I’ve added some leds in the front cab. Now I want to have lights in the cargo area that activate when I open the rear. Anybody done this or know of a write up?

I’m in the process of addressing the lack of interior light in the Jeep. I’ve added some leds in the front cab. Now I want to have lights in the cargo area that activate when I open the rear. Anybody done this or know of a write up?

There’s kits out there, I believe Precision LED makes one with a strip. Or just get a universal led light of your choice, find a power wire to tap into and run it through a micro switch to the light.
