Finally getting around to working on a power distribution solution for the rear of the truck to handle the ARB twin and a fridge. Here is what 20 feet of 2 gauge welding cable (one red, one black) looks like all wrapped and ready to be fed through the frame.

I pulled it yesterday and it wasn’t bad. Really, it’s only in the frame for the section by the gas tank and maybe a couple of feet on either side. The flexibility of the cable definitely helped.

All the major stuff is done and the air is up and running. I’m very pleased with the setup. Fridge wiring just needs to be connected and I’m going to install a secondary 12 volt plug for charging/running low draw stuff. I also need to zip tie the wiring in the ammo can and pretty it up a bit.
I ended up running 2 gauge to the back. Should be plenty for all of my needs. It runs through a 150 amp breaker at the battery. The 4 gauge is tied to bus bars in the Decked ammo can and then I fuse whatever I pull off the positive bus bar.

the JL is closer to the dash, I OCD'd over it when I bought mine, measured the JK and JL at different seat heights and realized the JL seat moves much more forward than the JK when it's raised.
Don't get me wrong, I like all of the creature comforts in the JL vs the JK, maybe it's just the seating position in relation to the dash. Feels like you sit lower in the JK more so the in the JL/JT's where you sit up higher. IDK, maybe it's just me
I put in seat brackets so I could slide the seat back and not smash my knees getting in and out.
I'm not that tall but it was uncomfortable as f* being that close

Unfortunately, my twin isn’t working. The fan runs but neither compressor is working. The external fuses are fine and I know power is getting to the harness. I’m going to pull everything apart this week but I’m curious if anyone has had a similar occurrence.
I’m hoping that maybe the pressure switch is bad or I bump a connection loose at the twin itself

I had all kinds of issues with mine. The relay kept popping. I never lost both compressors but would lose one. Not hard, just a pain in the dick to pull apart.

Thx. I’ll look at that too. The problem is the way that I have mine mounted it’s a major pain to service it. Basically, I have to empty one drawer to get to the bolts and then I unmount the twin.
But, while it was working, it moved some serious air.

Yup. Wasn’t super easy on the silver Jeep. Had to remove it all together and it was a pain with all the locker lines and crap.
