A-pillar light aiming

Hi,

I'm new to these forums but thought I could get some good advice here.

I recently installed a set of KC pro6 a-pillar lights on my Jeep JL. I aimed them just above the headlights, but I'm not sure that's where they should be. Obviously off-road use only, so I'm sure the answer is "wherever you want," but - where should I be aiming these?

If you tilt them a little sideways, you'll get some side light too.

Go out on a dark road, and adjust them until you get the most useful light pattern with those, combined with your other lights.

I keep the pillar lights aimed sideways of the vehicle, more side light is nice and also the light bar handles the straight ahead.
