These will look good on my 75 CJ5

Pulled my distributor on my 304 today to check the gears for wear after 1k miles and they look good. Here's the distributor gear. I couldn't get a good picture of the cam gear. The lucky part is I didn't swap gears between the original distributor and the DUI unit.

Hey Eddie, Did you use the original passenger seat latch/catch on Jane? If you have some photos on how that is set up itnwould be a huge help. At this time my Cj5 passenger seat is only held in place at the pivot on the seat mount/frame and the sest belt.

Ordered a HEI distributor from a reputable company and 10 weeks later it arives which is cool. Open the box to find it very well packed, no damage to the box and a nice hole in the side of the cap. Just sent them an email to see if they will send a new cap. I'm betting they will make it right.

Just installed a 2.5" lift with 3/4" shackles lift which turned out great. The only problem now is a vibration when driving and very noticeable at 40-55 MPH. It will stop when you push in the clutch and coast or there is no load on the engine/transmission. Could this be a bad u-joint or the...

Finally got the lift kit installed! 2.5" Rough Country lift and 3/4" Fishbone shackles.

This should really help my bump steer problem. There is a lot of slop on the original steering shaft joints.

Heads up, If you are looking for a speedometer gear for your Dana 20, don't get the one that says it fits a 1955-1986 CJ. That information is incorrect.

When choosing a speedometer gear should I go by the measured tire size or what is stated on the tire? Example, I have 265/70R17 which the company says it's a 31.7" tire, but I measure (at 30 PSI) 30.5".

The more I poke around under my Jeep the more interesting things I find. The right spring has an extra block added. It looks like someone was trying to lower the right side be about half an inch. This is the Left side and there isn't the extra block.

I have an annoying exhaust leak and need to install new gaskets. I have read up on this and now know how easy the bolts break off. Is there a good way to remove the bolts without snapping them off in the block?

Is this where the air cleaner vacuum line goes (blue cap)? I found all but this port in the manual. *UPDATE* Found the thermal vacuum switch inside the air cleaner was bad. Have a replacement on the way.
