It’s been a minute since I’ve worked on it. After I pulled the transmission and t case. I discovered first gear was chewed up. I sent the unit to my local transmission shop for a rebuild. Luckily Crown Automotive has new gears and a decent amount of replacement parts. $1,500 later, it’s back...

I like working on them but fuck…. I Left early work today, whenever I fuck something up, I can’t sleep until it’s fixed…. Oppsss

It would have been quicker and cheaper to buy restored.

Replacing the rear main, while transmission and t case are out, I’m having it rebuilt, if was also leaking out of every seal.

They all make me wanna puke other than the military one and that’s even boring.

Well, guess the first drive broke some shit.. time for new leafs on the front.. what’s about $200. I can’t even fill my Ram for that… lol

Still need to do some things, like bolt in a seat, put the hood on, fix some shackles, get the brake lights and turn signals working, but fuck it, first drive. I’d guess it’s the first time in 22 years it’s been on the road under it’s own power.

Soon as it got gas l, it fired up and just purred. I doubt it had ran since it was parked in 2000. It was literally just started when I shot this. Tires will be here next week for the drive ! I’ll be driving it on some sketchy shit this weekend, no doubt.
